Cop Beats Bus Driver Unconscious

Five days after a Latino bus driver was beaten, the many video cameras on board this #62 Archer bus remain unreleased to the public. The attacker remains uncharged of a crime.

The police officers on the bus failed to prevent this attack. They failed to prevent the assailant from reboarding the bus to beat him for a second time. How are bus drivers supposed to safely drive people to work if we are afraid of being attacked?

Thanks to LVEJO for posting this information. We also set up a Facebook group, “Friends of Chicago Bus Operators” to keep people informed and strengthen the unity between workers and the passengers.
