Orange Line, Red Line Environmental Impact Meetings.

One of our members attended CTA’s latest meetings Orange and Red Line Extension Meetings.  Here are a few notes.

These meetings gave a chance for community input on environmental impacts.

Everyone’s comments were generally positive for both lines.

Orange Line

CTA is only planning to build 2 stations on the extension at Marquette and Ford City.

Suggestion was made to add more stations to the line – 71st and 75th.

Red Line

One person raised noise concerns with the Red Line.
