Who are We?

The Little Village Environmental Justice Organization is a grassroots community led organization committed to leadership development for the sustainable self determination of Little Village and our neighbors.

About our Internship Program

The internships we offer will develop your leadership roles as community organizers. You will learn how to have effective organizing conversations, develop campaign strategies, promote tactful messaging, assess your own organizational power and that of our targets, allies, and opponents as well as recuit contituents and move into action. The focus will be on our Transit and Climate Justice campaign. We will provide a comprehensive understanding of transformative organizing methods and practices and educate the community on transit and environmental issues.

Schedule: 10-15 hours per week for 6 months (flexible student-oriented hours)
Interns will recieve a monthly stipend
Fluency in Spanish or other languages relevant to the campaign
